De verkiezingen voor de Tweede Kamer zijn achter de rug. Het vormen van een nieuwe regering kan beginnen. Een van de grote thema\u2019s tijdens de verkiezingsstrijd was de hypotheekrenteaftrek. Hoewel het nog onzeker is of deze aftrek op termijn gaat verdwijnen, overweegt u wellicht om uw hypotheek sneller af te lossen. Dit speelt vooral bij aflossingsvrije hypotheken of bij op latere leeftijd afgesloten hypotheken. Een hoge hypotheeklast kan zwaar drukken op het besteedbaar inkomen, zeker wanneer uw pensioeninkomen lager is dan het inkomen tijdens uw werkzame leven. Maar wat levert extra aflossen u op? Een eenmalige aflossing lijkt aantrekkelijk, maar het effect hiervan is mogelijk beperkt. Structureel extra aflossen, bijvoorbeeld maandelijks of jaarlijks, kan er daarentegen voor zorgen dat uw hypotheek tegen pensioendatum volledig is verdwenen. Dat kost gedurende uw werkzame leven iets meer liquiditeit, maar levert op de pensioendatum veel rust op.<\/p>\n

\n<\/strong>Structureel extra aflossen brengt rust op de pensioendatum. De maandlasten dalen blijvend en door de (eventuele) afbouw van hypotheekrenteaftrek wordt dit voordeel alleen maar sterker.<\/p>\n
